I've processed very personal experiences in my latest paintings. Both works were created during a time that had a profound impact on me. They speak of inner strength, sensitivity, and the power to move on, even in quiet moments. Here I'd like to share the story behind the paintings with you.
"She Kept Her Crown"
This work represents quiet strength and moving on quietly when life challenges you.
It tells of moments in which you function even though everything is shaky.
Of inner strength, even when no one is watching.
The crown symbolizes dignity – not power.
The bird hope – not escape.
"She Kept Her Crown" is a metaphor for all those who continually pick themselves up and keep going.
With attitude. With heart.

"The Gentle Force Inside Me"
This work of art is a silent look inward.
It tells of moments when life forces you to stop – and you suddenly meet yourself.
“ The Gentle Force Inside Me” stands for the strength that is not loud but is deeply rooted.
For perseverance without becoming petrified. For sensitivity as strength.
For the gentle, unstoppable progression – carried by something that no one sees from the outside, but lives within us.

These two works tell a quiet but powerful story:
Of times when life is burning – and yet you still move on.
Of inner strength, even when no one is watching.
Of the strength that grows in silence and the sensitivity that becomes strength in difficult times.
The woman in these pictures represents functioning when there is no room for collapse.
For picking yourself up after every fall, carrying you in moments of weakness – and consciously pausing when there is finally space to feel again.
The crown is not a symbol of power. It stands for dignity, for inner resilience in the face of uncertainty.
The bird – sometimes as a silent companion, sometimes as a delicate messenger – symbolizes hope, life, lightness.
The hummingbird – light, floating, almost fleeting – as a symbol of life itself: fragile yet full of power.
The flower, partially deliberately painted over with white – like a veil. A symbol for everything that remains hidden. For that which wants to be seen, but can only be hinted at.
These works of art are a silent echo for all those who are quietly strong.
Those who persevere, love, doubt—and yet still move on. Not because they have to, but because something lives within them that sustains them. A quiet force that lives within us.
For me, these works are not mere pictures, but a reflection of my inner journey.
I'm interested in: What feelings do they evoke in you?
Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments – I look forward to the exchange.
